Concept Mach Coupe

technically its round two between me and this car this is what it looked like before. i had a major paint disaster that required a massive paint clean up mission.

the whole time im working on it im eye balling a R8 in a picture and to me the mustang would look good as a fasback coupe i dint have a r8 onhand so i butchered a c6 corvette i bought for a resin project and mated the two

still in the process of molding on the roof to the body, the idea is to make it look as it it was a production car not sure on my wheel choice but im gonna live with it till i find a better pair

Interesting work. I'm not sure the line of the rear hatch works with the 'stangs body lines though.

I was trying not to judge it too harshly from one picture.
It looks fine from that angle, better than fords original.

Nice idea! The C6 roof fits it quite nicely too.
Maybe the roof would blend a bit more with the style of the rest of the car if you would make the sharp corners (top of side windows, bottom corners of rear window, maybe top corners of windshield) rounded. hat's because the car itself contains about, uhm... no sharp corners or edges :-)

Very cool and interesting project. I like these concept builds. Maybe You should extend the c-pillar? Kind of like the original Mach 1 had a long roof line, extending from the b-pillar way back to the rear. Then It would look more like a Stang? Or You could paint the roof black and then You just paint the rear windows sides black leaving small windows unpainted? But that's just my :2cents: You build it like You want to.
