This is a quick build I did over the weekend for a Lemans 24 hr. build. Paint and clear is Tamiya. Normally i'd polish out my builds but due to this being a quickie, I just cleared it and didn't rub it out. The Decals were a big pain and took up way too much of the time. Kit is Fujimi chassis # p1047/1031. I love sharing time with my son and all my friends, building kits, watchin the race and eatin junk food !!!

Nice job of a car we don't see built too often in that livery.
24 hours always seems like a lot of time when we start these projects. But boy does time fly when you're having fun.

Looks great! I'm already perusing Stevens to see what is available..might have to get Nissan R390 and Toyota TS020 while they're still at old prices for future LeMans builds. Sure was fun again this year, I need to photograph my Mazda and post it.

Looks great, Danny. Did you get any sleep at all or did it take the full 24 hours?

I got frustrated with the decals and put it down about 4:30 and slept a couple hours. Then finished it up right after the race. The decals didn't have clear carrier on all of them, I had to spray some Testors decal bonder on them. Then after it dried, of course I had to trim them all up close. The section around the headlights I had to cut into several pieces then in order to trim around them. Then they were all trying to tear and not stick. I'm surprised it turned out as well as it did because of those.:runaround:

I'll decide next year about a week before Lemans what I'll build.
I need to get some photo's of my Vette posted also.

Cool work! I always think y'all's 24hour build during LeMans looks like so much fun - I wish I had a cool group of builders out here. Keep it up! Can't wait until next year!
