retro a carb to a tuneport engine

i have a 86 firebird with tuneport on it and want to put a carb on it with all the performance cam and fuel pump im on a limited buget is there a cheap way to do it buy just takeing out the computer and wire in a old styl hei and put a external fuel pump is there any truoble to look for
