96 Electrical Problem

Can anybody give me an idea where to start looking for ground/power problems? The car was running good and started to run rough. The gas gauge went to empty and now there is no power to the fuel pump. I have jumped the under hood fuse for the fuel pump and it runs. I have also swapped the relays without success. All fuses are good in the car and under the hood. I believe that it is probably ground related but don't really know where the different grounds are located.
