Well the air works but it won't blow through the dash vents, its all blowing on the floor even when i change the selector. Fan works fine. It always happens after about 15 mins of driving.

I think I've narrowed it down to the selector switch, the one that selects defrost, floor, ect. Nothing happens when i turn it, any ideas?

People will want to know the year and model of your vehicle. Also, what specific climate control do you have. Is it auto, or manual? Sometimes the output of air is controlled y vacuum. It might be worth opening up the dash and pulling your climate control out and take a peak at the vacuum lines that go to it, if any. They may be kinked or twisted. Perhaps when an after market radio was installed, or something. It could also be the control itself that has gone bad, but I don't know what control it is. They are supposed to be greased up and yours may have dried up a bit.

its a 2000 GP GT, has manual climate control, factory radio. I checked the vacuum line from the intake and it was fine. It works great for about 15 mins or so, then stops blowing, don't get it! After it cools down it work fine again.

This is definitely a vacuum supply issue. Double check the hard plastic line under the hood where it runs near the battery. If that checks out ok, it may be the vacuum storage canister under the dash, as they are known to crack and leak with age.

where is the best spot to find the vacuum canister? Through the glove box maybe? Is it on the passenger side?

the storage canister is behind the floor duct under the center of the dash. It is sort of rectangular in shape and is held in place by two bolts. Should have GM part# 10403762 on it.

It's tight, but you shouldn't have to remove the console. It's actually under the dash (directly under the HVAC control head) slightly forward of where the console meets the dashboard.
