2000 voyager minivan, won't run. 401 code says insufficient egr flow

My van was running and choking but wouldn't accelerate and then it backfired and choked a while now it wont start. when it was running it sounded like there was a vacuum leak of sorts.

It seems the fuel flow is shutdown....I checked the fuel pump, it is working when off the vehicle but not on the vehicle...hmmm....might be the fuel filter or is there something that shuts down the fuel flow or another reason keeping the fuel from shooting out of the pump when I turn the key to the on position

Does anyone know where to look to find the egr valve or possible hoses or leaks that may contribute to those symptoms.

Any help or suggestions or redirections to another website would be very much appreciated.

So the symptoms are:
*car was running fine for weeks, on the hottest day this summer so far 85 degrees....
* Car was running but wouldn't accellerate.
*then it started to struggle to run
*misfired alittle
*then it sounded like a vacuum noise in the engine
*choking and dies
*now it won't start at all
*I just had my oil changed and my coolant topped off at a drive in oil change place, now i see the coolant is leaking somewhere above the oil filter and there is a wet area an electrical plug in that area is all wet from coolant.
*the day of my oil change my car dies later...
*no fuel from the fuel pump when on the vehicle but the fuel pump off the vehicle works
*might be clogged fuel filter
*the engine tester code shows insufficient egr flow, but this could be a secondary problem.
*might be what???? help? any ideas of what to check next....

Can anyone put together these clues and discard whatever may not be relevant to the equation?

HELP!!!

It turns out it was a bad fuel pump. The problem seems to be fixed now. I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter.


Now I noticed i have a coolant leak just above the oil filter. need to know what kind of coolant to use on this vehicle. I see evidence that it takes a special kind. Anyone know how to find the exact coolant type?
