damn, i have been posting alot lately asking for all kinds of help....mostly dum questions which i can't answer myself...lol....

anyways, here is the problem. this problem has been there ever since i bought the car.....the honda dealer says there is nothing wrong, but i suspect something is.

my car idles low sometimes (8 out of 10 times.) below 500....sometimes hitting that line right above 0......it actually stalled twice on me...dont know why. but if i turn my steering wheel left or right, the idle goes back up....right below 1000..........what the hell is that??????

and now, my car starts up funny sometimes (1 out of 10-15 times)
supposingly, when you start your car, it goes vrrooommmm........

but my sometimes goes like this
vr...vr....vrrrom..vroooom.......
like it dying, not getting air, weak.....weird.

anyone have similar problems with their 5th gen or SH?
thanx for reading.

U sure this was a certified HONDA mechanic? Anyway, it might have somethin to do with the atts but then again, this is just a GUESS!!!

eh, preludes are notorious for that idle issue. unless it stalls on you, there shouldn't be any problem. what you can do is adjust the throttle cable if it bothers you that much. but as far as i'm concerned, there's nothing wrong. many preludes do the same thing. mine does on occasion.

ATTS has nothing to do with it, just so you know.

how many miles on your ride? and what do you have done to it?
