1991 Mods

My friend is looking at buying a 1991 Toyota Corolla hatchback and is wondering if any of you have any performance advice. Which turbo to run etc. ... and any other hints on how to improve the performance and allround driveability of the car.

what turbo would you suggest i run on the corolla 1991 for best performance/power output

first off, good luck finding a turbo, and second good luck paying for it. It can be done, dont get me wrong, but im too stupid to do it, and i aint that stupid. But anyways u dont need one. First thing id get (wish i had) is a nice set of tires, yokohama or some good stuff like that to keep u on the black top, Than u start ripping expendable items out of ur car, like passenger seats, giant sub boxes, dead bodies ect. than when u mod ur engine go for light weight shit, like headers, intake manifold, and dont buy exhaust, just cut what u have off, get the cat off even better
than ull be smokin shit in no time

I am guessing you have a 4afe engine or a fe engine of some sort, if you want to go the turbo rout you would be best off looking for a gze engine to drop in as its going to handle the turbo with out expensive engine strength rebuilding
