I have ordered my 17" rims but i have ordered them with a 7J width and a 45 offset with 205/40/17 tyres is this all correct so they dont scrub???

they should fit easy but i think that u still should go for 20's i know of some nice 20' 3studs u can have cheap lol:flipa:

thats exactly what mine where and i've had them on over a year now without scraping...just rmember to roll ur fenders :)

i had 205/40/17 on my car a while back, and even at stock ride height, it would scrape going around corners. definately roll your fenders, if nothing else than the longevity of the tires themselves. not rolling fenders on the front can lead to the fender lip bending down and cutting into the tire. it did so on mine.
