Well I took my 2000 Chevy Malibu to the dealer as the air was blwoing hot. He dye tested the system, recharged it and said there were no leaks or problems. Well it has been about 3 weeks and it does blow cold. HOWEVER, now when I first put the A/C on by depressing the switch and turn the the blower up I hear a grinding noise from under the hood for a few seconds. The compressor clicks and it blows cold and it works. If during the drive I turn the A/C off and back on it doesn't make the noise. It only does it when I first use it for the day. The dealer does the two step on this. Any thoughts?
