We have 06 EX-L model with 54k miles, I noticed yesterday that even though outside temp was 80 and set the car inside temp to 69 and turn on "Auto" mode it was automatically turning on recirculating switch and bringing outside air in but vents are all blowing hot air and even when I change the setting to manual and turn the a/c on and setting the temperature to low. Any idea what can be the problem?
Thanks

Sounds like the A/C system is not working properly. From my experience on an ODY it's either a bad compressor or there is hole in the condensor. You will need some one to hook up a/c gauges to see if there is any pressure in the system. If there is, my guess it needs a compressor. If there is no pressure it should be charged properly with dye to aid in finding the leak(usually condensor) Unfortunately Honda's are the #1 vehicle we replace compressor on.
Any time the a/c is on whether it auto or manual rescirc should be used. You don't want to cool hot air, it's much easier to keep cool air cool. Fresh air should be used with heat otherwise the windows will fog up.
