I'm 17 and about to get my full drivers license and was wondering what kind of car I should consider buying. I want something cheap and somewhat fast, but more cheap than anything. I've read some threads and done some research, but I'm still an amateur and would like to get some more experienced advice. I'm not some kid trying to street race like fast and furious, I am just asking for some advice on my first relatively fast car.
thanks in advance.

Get a Civic, take classes on how to drive fast. Use the Civic to learn how cars work. Get fast in Civic so you don't kill yourself, then go buy a fast car when you know how to drive fast.
