This is my first kit...this is still in progress but so far it has a rollbar, rear spoiler, and black pearl paint job, in light it looks gunmetal with silver flakes. O if you tell me how to post pictures i will post some~:(

First of all Welcome to AF! Please make sure you read the FAQ then have a look around! A suggestion is to have a look at the AF Model Gallery by clicking the link at the top of most pages in the model forums, check out some of the awesome creations built here!

The Datto is looking clean and well done, keep it up! :alien:

Easier way to upload pictures is by going to http://www.automotiveforums.com/upload and loading your picture there, then copy the images url and paste it into your post and add these tags around it (minus the - ) [img-]*URL of photo here*[/img-]

This will allow you to post multiple photos in one post.

Nah, bodywork isn't needed for a classic shape like the 240Z. But this thing's engine is begging for the triple Weber DCOE's and "bundle of snakes" header out of the BRE #46 kit.

Oh no, these aren't aftermarket. They can be found in the Revell BRE #46 Datsun 240Z kit that was reissued a few years ago. The kit comes with "spook" style air dam, decklid spoiler, rollbar, classic Can-Am style racing seat, Minilite four-spoke wheels, headlight covers, three Weber DCOE 45mm sidedraught carbs on a custom manifold, BRE "bundle of snakes" header and dual pipe rear exit exhaust. It's the companion kit to your Revell Z and is well worth searching around for on eBay and such.

Here's the car that will be on the boxlid, so you know what you're looking for. http://members.madasafish.com/~mgussin/BREsecondarticle/Dscn4227.jpg

And here's the boxlid. (sorry it's small) http://www.triadzclub.com/z/classifieds/revell.jpg
