Have you contacted your local service department regarding this concern? There are many benefits to taking a vehicle to your local dealership. You can guarantee that technicians are certified and that the parts come with a GM parts warranty. For these reasons, I would recommend taking the vehicle to your local dealership to be diagnosed. They should be able to assist you further and have a plan for addressing the issue. I can also look into this issue further. In order to do more research, I will need some more specific information from you such as your name, address, phone number, the VIN for the vehicle, and current mileage. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact me either on the thread or via private message. Thank you.

I don't want to steal the thread, but I have a 2006 corvette that has only 3800 miles on it and I have a rack and pinion that is leaking from both ends. It has never seen rain or snow and was leaking the first day I drove it. I am very much a GM guy. What could GM do about my situation? Thanks.

since you are a GM GUY you know they will offer you nothing...you are well over the time of warrantee..

you should post this in the corvette section.. perhaps you can get good info on what parts are needed and where to get them...

I also would like to inform those on any forum anywhere not to post your vin number or give your vin number to unknowns...

this is used to clone your valid vin to a stolen vehicle so it can be sold !

good luck !
