Ok so the other day i lost all use of my power windows. The locks haven't worked right for years. I took the sleeve off the wiring between the door and i noticed that all if not most of the wiring had dried up and just came apart, has anybody ever had this issue and how did you go about fixing it, I know its just a matter of splicing the wires back together but there is no room to work how hard is it to remove the wiring from inside the door and what does the wiring look like on the side with the kick panel is this a dealer type repair or a DIY job any help would be great, also does anybody have a good wiring diagram of the windows and door:runaround:

UPDATE!!

So i went ahead and removed the kick panel to see how much misery i was going to be in but alas.. the jeep gods were smiling down on me:grinyes: apparently the wiring from the drivers door that has all the power locks/window stuff is nothing more than a harness that plugs in to the main wiring line:lol: i detached the harness ran it out through the door. I drove to pick and pull found a 91 removed the harness spent $5 for it had to modify a few connections spliced them all up put it all back and it has never worked better ALL the locks and windows work now:iceslolan
