February 99 as I left town I happen to think of something I needed from the parts store, instead of turning around and going back to the parts store I've done business with since I was a teenager I stopped at the new Parts Plus.
When I came back out, bingo, my 92 S-10 Blazer would not start, it was the battery. I scratched my head thinking, I really did not want to buy the battery here, yet, it sure is convenient. So I bought a 36 month battery and had to borrow wrenches to put it on.
Today, 12 years and 3 months later that batter gave up its ghost. If there was a Parts Plus store in town I would buy another battery from them. Being as there is not one I'll go back to my old parts store, yet I doubt that this next one will last that long. This is the longest lasting battery that I remember ever having.

Good luck on finding another battery to last that much longer than than warranty years.
Some make it and some do not and some give hyou some more years.
Kinda like playing the loto.:lol::lol2:
Most batterys are made to last as long as the warranty years on them.
But battery life is also how well you take care of and use them.

I feel sure the one I'm fixing to put on my Blazer in a few minutes want last near that long
In the mid 80's I bought a 59 Ford pickup, about 1 year later the battery went out, it was a 24 month Walmart battery, it was a bit over 7 years old.
I've been very fortunate, the last 4 times I've had a battery to go out, one went out in front of a parts store, the other 3 went out in my driveway.
