i have a 1994 chevy lumina apv how co i jump terminal to pull codes and how do i read flasing light

i have a 1994 chevy lumina apv how co i jump terminal to pull codes and how do i read flasing light
by jumping the 2 pins(A&B) in the aldl connector(under d/side hush panel(right where your left knee if sitting in drivers seat
once jumped turn key on the ses lamp will flash ie code 13 will flash
1 time pause then flash 3 times then pause.i believe it will go through
this 3 times for each code then move to the next code
your car may only have a few terminals in the aldl connector but a/b are next to each other

Negative. Starting with '94, pin B does not exist. Flashing the codes is impossible. A code reader is mandatory....and this is usually referred to as OBD1 1/2.... OBD2 readers will not work. ALDL cable to USB to use with a PC is available. There are several references to this setup elsewhere on this forum or on the Transport forum....here is an example http://www.aldlcable.com/
