Low Beam Lights

I've noticed recently that my day time running lights do not work. I've checked all the fuses and they are good. I looked in my manual and couldn't find anything that would help me. Now I'm turning to the forum for a possible solution. Any and all help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help
Alex

If the low beam headlights work, and the DRLs do not...

...I think you've saved yourself the cost of a DRL elimination kit.

If the low beam headlights don't work, perhaps the bulbs are burnt out. Potential body computer problem. Possible wiring problem. There may be other potential problems as well.

There is a headlight switch position left of the "off/auto" position you can rotate it to to cancel the DRLs, maybe that has gone bad? I've never fussed with mine, but I think you have to turn it every time you turn the key to cancel them...they don't stay off once you do it.

Which leads me to the question of do you have automatic headlights? There's a little domed light sensor in the middle of the dash near the windshield. This system also controls your DRLs.

Hope this helps!
