My 02 Accord having problem with the Day running lights, the amber light "DRL" in panel is on and the running light is out, its supposed that the hand brake is released, the DRL light goes out and running lights are on. The other is the hood cable is so sticky, very difficult to close the hood, I tries to sprayed some WD40 on the latch, but doesn't work, is it possible to adjust the latch up and down to hold the hood? Any body knows how to fix it?

I would start with checking fuses for DRL.
Try to operate hood release cable by hand. It may be just a bad cable.
Good luck,
Sam

Hi Sam,
Thank you for your advise. Actually, I have checked the fuse, they are all OK.
but I found that the Driver's side High Beam light is out, is this the reason to affect the DRL circuits?
Maybe I have to lubricant to cable end near the latch!
Thank you.

The DRLs burn the high beams at lower voltage when the DRL is on, so if you have a high beam out, I suspect that's your problem, yes.
Most cars have a way to reposition the latch or the hook so they line up properly...usually just by loosening the bolts slightly and move it in the direction it needs to go...I don't know specifically on yours.
Also there are post with rubber bumpers on top, look kind of like little mushrooms, that support the hood when closed and are used to align it to the fenders properly. They simply screw in or out to raise or lower them. Sometimes one might have gotten spun and is too high, putting the hood in a bind and making it hard to open or close too.

After replaced with new High Beam light, now everything working good.
Re Hood latch - I have to check again and also the rubber support, it might be the problem from the rubber support.
Thank you all.
