hey guys,
home from college for the summer, so I finally have some time to try to figure this out and was hoping I could get some advice here. the molding/panel thing on the driver's side rear door has totally fallen off. At first it was just loose, but now it has totally fallen off and is basically just wedged in place by the seats when the door is closed.
Any idea how to deal with this? Can I buy new clips or a new panel somewhere? and if so, where? is it an easy DIY fix? If the current panel is salvageable, how can I tell?
thanks so much!

What model year Taurus are you working on? Have you confirmed that the clips are broken? Any chance you can get a pic of the inside of the door panel and link to the photo in this thread?

If you can't figure out how it's attached, I suggest you go to the nearest Ford body shop. They are experienced in removal and replacement of such panels. They are also a good source of replacement clips and other associated small hardware.
Let us know how it turns out.
