I think you need to re-read his post jeff-face, you'll see that he's looking for his first car, for all you know he's been driving a VW microbus around for the past quarter century.
Wrapping yourself around a tree? now don't go calling newbies tree-huggers either... sheesh!

well he is only 15.... so driving that bus for the last quarter century is kinda out of the question.

i was in this very same boat 2 years ago! i looked at fast imports, fast muscle cars, but do you know what i ended up with a 1991 murcury grand marquis, i fugured why spend all my $ on some car that i probobly will wrap around a tree when i could buy this grandma car that in PERFECT condition with only 61,000 miles for less then 1/4 of the mustang i was looking at. now my grandma car is damn near as fast as the mustang i wanted so if i wrap this around a tree im sourounded by steel! (just kidding)

My first car was a Mazda Mx6 GT Turbo. I woud sugget that if you don't mind the looks of them. Fairly quick stock, and have a lot of potential if you decide to mod it up(250whp from mine:)). I only had it a short while though, and then I picked up a Z28. I seriously doubt you'll wrap yourself aroud a tree just because your car is quicker than others. As long as you're responsible and careful you'll be fine. If you're not responsible and careful, you will end up around a tree no matter what you're driving, rather it be a Ferrari or a Yugo(no offense twostroke:D).

Only 15?????? A Civic or a Focus is more than enough for you young ma- the High performance imports are not something that can be left in the hands of youngsters.

I dont know about it being out of control(gt vr4 or any hi power import) My uncle has a old ac cobra. I have driving that thing( i have my permit) and that thing was beast. And i really dont want a civic for focus there just a big pos. i think i might get a 2000 mustang.

he didnt lie on his profile because how many 25 year olds do you know that still have their learners permit? "( i have my permit)"

Out where I live was until recently a rural area, and I had known a couple of people who were well past 15 before they got their leaners permit.

For a first car a VR4 (and the like) are not the kind of car you should be driving regardless of who is picking up the tab. You listed sweet rides, but Jimmster had the right selection for you.
