Help Fuel Reg - Not Connected?

After reading this forum and others, decided to change the fuel pressure regulator on my 2000 Blazer 4.3. Got everything apart and to my surprise, did not find anything connected to FPR! I presume that there is some type of rubber hose. Very perplexing! I have pic I will try to load.

The entire regulator is exposed to manifold vacuum so a vacuum hose is not necessary.

Why are you replacing it? Did you check fuel pressure and leakdown?
