Wonderful! Looks, realy great, but front bumper isnīt horisontal and the front girll requires a little bit of wash - without it it looks a little bit like a toy.
If You could repair those two things, it would be perfect :)

What a beauty! Great paint job. I never knew Heller made this kit, but now I want one.

Excelent job! But in my opinion you should try to fix the front bumper and make more real the grille.
Could you say something about the kit, pelase?
Thanks fo sharing!

Very classical looking! Clean build with vintage feeling. The photography light box looks good cool too. Good job!

I think you've managed to get the best from this model. It is simply beautiful.
I love the combination of red and black, the paint finish is exceptional. By the way, a curiosity about this Mercedes. In Spain, the Mercedes 170 is known as 'Mercedes Lola Flores'. The Grandparents say that the sound of its engine was similar to the castanets of Lola Flores. Congratulations. Pretty work!

Great to finally see one of these built! Looks fantastic, and beautiful paintwork.
I never knew Heller made this kit, but now I want one.
They did a van version too. Like quite a few of Heller's vintage / classic car kits, the saloon is sometimes found in Airfix packaging. I used to have a link to a complete list of what they released, but unfortunately can't find it. They specialised in 1930s era European cars, mainly French but also several German, English, and some Spanish and Italian stuff too.
