Continental Tires

Continental Cross Contact LX tires just failed inspection after 8 months and 10,000 miles on them. Had Alignment prior to installation(2 weeks prior) and were rotated once during the 10,000 life.
Neither Continental or Jack Williams made good on them because I had no paperwork stating they were rotated. I did the rotation myself so no paperwork.
Previous set of tires were General Grabbers and they lasted 15,000. Continental made good on only 2 of them.
These tires are wearing on a well kept and maintained vehicle which is driven by my wife who is not an aggressive driver by any means. The worst part is the companies won't back them.
No more continental products for me.

I had paper work from Jack Williams for alignment. Not in my hand when I went to talk to them. But they do have a record of it. I even emailed the JW owners with the reference numbers for the service ticket after I got home. This was the reference number referring to the job order which the alignment was done under. No Reply as of yet.
I rotated tires myself but obviously the tire manufacturer wants you to bring it back to JW or have a receipt stating you paid someone to do it? No where does it say in the tire guides that you must have a commercial business perform tire rotations!
My tire rotation was done when I pulled all the wheels off to inspect brakes. Why wouldn't I just rotate them when I put them back on and save myself a trip to JW.
