Where does this cable goes?

I had to replace a battery, and when removing it i noticed this cable unplugged?
its for a Chevy venture 98
it also has a check engine light with code p1665, dont know if its related to this.

the black box is the main fuse box thats on top of the battery

your abs light on? looks like the one for the front passenger abs

That harness does look a lot like the LF speed sensor hanress. Your P1665 code is for the EVAP Vent solenoid control circuit.

yea, the ABS light is on, but just recently got on, or rather at times its on and off..
any suggetions on where to look so i can check and plug it back in? meanwhile ill try the wheel bearing..

I have the exact same wire on my 98 Trans Sport and 02 Silhouette and on both it's not plugged into anything. I've always wondered what it's for. I figured some option the van didn't come with. Who knows !?

the more i think about it, it could be for fog lights as well? does your van have fog lights?

Yep both have factory fog lights.
I wonder if it has voltage, and if so.. Switched or not ?

i checked and it seems that the passanger wheel bearing is unplugged!, i put my hand to feel for the connection and it doesnt feel like theres anything connected to the car. ill have to remove the tire just to make sure.
my van doesnt have any fog lights.

That cable goes to the non-existent underhood light. GM used the same harness for all the mini vans, but only the Pontiac and Olds models got the underhood light. I guess they wanted to keep the Chevy owners in the dark.......

looks like it goes to the air conditioner pump. Does your vans' air conditioner get cold when you turn it on?
That long of a wire coming out of the main harness leads me to believe that it is for the A/C. Which is usually the last engine accessory that the harness has to get to.
