nostalgia gasser artwork

this is for a magazine contest the brief was to design a period correct gasser style car from the 50,s and 60,s i went with a holden from the 60,s and added all the old school features these cars were known for,red tints on windows lifted suspension and white wall wheels and hilborn injection and candy gold paint etc all up this one took me about 10 hours

Very nice.... a little notalgic, indeed. Reminds me of the days I ran a street-legal D/Gas 40 Chevy (with a 283 Cub Inch Chevy) at Lions Drag Strip in San Fernando (L.A. Area) and the Lion's Drag Strip in Long Beach, CA.... all back in the mid 60's. Many cars like your great drawing were in abundance! Roboduck
