After several years of on/off work this build is complete. It is not up to par with the fine work here on AF but I am excited to present it to my friend on his birthday. I wanted to build a replica of his '70 240z with an RB25DET drivetrain swap. I used the Hasegawa(body/interior) and Fujimi kits plus aftermarket bits. I tried to replicate everything visible in the engine bay like the valve cover, fuel rail, injectors, BOVs, vacuum lines, etc. Not 100% but works. I like the little touches that make the car special like the exhaust welds, decals, Porsche brakes, Recaro seats. Enjoy!

Looking good.
I bet your friend will be happy with this build.
The engine bay looks great and just like the real thing. Did you have to do a lot of scratchbuilding here (don't know the Hase and Fujimi kits, so I don't know what's in there OOB).

Paintjob looks great.
Would be nice to see a picture of both cars together...

Great to see this finished. I think the quality is right up there with the best builds on AF, and the fact that its a replica of a friends car puts the cool factor over the top.

A very smart build - I remember your WIP thread well & glad to see how well it turned out. Especially liking the comparison between 1:24 & 1:1 :)

Very nice build! I've watched this in the w.i.p-section closely. I'm sure that Rob (that was the owner's name?) will be happy with it. Nice ride!

Not on par! That's bull. Great work! You really captured the look and feel of this car, and really did a GREAT job detailing it. One of the best models I've seen. Doing a detailed replica of a real 1:1 street car is a lot harder than it seems. Great work!!! Glad to see it done.
