My 2001 Mercury Villager squeals at start up and then intermittently, more frequent when turning and occasionally when idling. I just had the belts replaced about a year ago and the power steering fluid is full right now. Any suggestions as to where to begin troubleshooting?

Have you checked the belst for tightness? Sounds to me like the power steering belt has stretched a little and needs to be tightened. The best way to access the belt is to lossen the bolts on the passenger wheel, jack the passenger side up and install a jack stand for safety. Remove wheel. Remove the splaxh shield on the fender well then check and tighen all belts. There are adjusting bolts on each of the drive belts to loosen or tighen the belts. Also on top of the Villager page is a link for the online service manual, follow directions and it should you. Go to the index page and look up either drive belts or power steering belt and it should give what section and page to look for info.
Hope this helps

Hey thanks for the info! The link for the online service manual is great!!! I'm pretty sure I'll have no problem narrowing it down now.
Thanks again!
