Lowering driving me crazy

I am still trying to work out the best way to lower my Fujimi 180SX Type X. Anyone who has lowered this kit please speak up. I was thinking about cutting the chassis and suspension down so that the whole suspension/arms assembly sits lower on the chassis but this seems like a very messy way of doing it. I need to really slam this model so I want to go as low as I can. Please help.
