Hello the Group,
I am working on fixing a check engine issue of the engine running lean. I just discovered that the accordion shaped plastic pipe between the Mass Airflow Sensor and the throttle body has a split down in the bottom of a valley of one of the accordion shaped folds in the pipe. I am sorry that I don't know the name of it, but I suspect it is considered to be part of the air cleaner. I have patched it with duct tape, but need advice from the more experienced experts on how to repair this on a more permanent basis. Does someone make patch kits to replace a section of pipe? Do I need to order a whole new assembly? Is there a repair method for these? I look forward to any input.
Thanks in advance.

I would check with the dealer. I have replaced many of them on just older than yours but I think they are the same. That pipe cost about $30 at the dealer here if I remember right. Have seen duct tape used until the part came in. Very common problem. So common I was going to just stock one in my shop, lol. We have tried afew ways to patch them but nothing ever worked long term.
