I just picked up a 93 Caprice Classic in good shape. I'm an Outside Sales rep for a telecom company and they don't cover gas totally. Is there anything short of putting a new engine into the 93 Caprice that will help me get a better gas milage?

if you are a salesman this is not your car...
get a high mileage vehicle..this gas hog will leave your wallet empty.
if you put a small 4 cylinder in this your still going to use lots of fuel..your moving 4,ooolbs around so you need the same power..to do it...

Do a complete tune-up to get the car running at it's best to optimize gas mileage. keep tires inflated also. May not be the best car for gas mileage but you probably don't have the car payments that you would if you bought a new econo car either so you will spend a little more at the pumps with the caprice.
