99 Taurus rough idle after starting

After the car is started the RPMs jump up and down and there is some vibrating going on. Only occurs when vehicle is started. After you drive it, it's fine. Possible areas to start looking? Throttle? Fuel Pressure?

Sounds like a vacuum leak causing a lean condition and misfire. I'd start by checking the vacuum hoses, PCV elbow if you have the DOHC engine, and intake manifold.

Rods Right Also try cleaning you mass air flow... throttle body, idle air control motor..... those may help and is good to keep them clean...
