Work Sux

Work is crap this year. We have 5 new guys, the newest guys are older than me so feel they dont need to listen to me in the section even though I outrank them and need to teach them, so life is pretty bad for them right now as a result, and Id rather just go to work and be happy myself too. And the other 3 are lame, always, gay this gay that. UGH!!! Anybody got some great drugs I can take?

I hear ya- we've been kitting out the Coppers with new cars for about 3 weeks now- and there seems to be no end to it- we have two more contracts pending- but the staff are top notch as usual and I haven't been doing any overtime:)

Yeah I work at a BlockBusters in Lindsay and it's increadibly boring, the summer prior to working there I did Contruction and now that i'm behind a counter all the time, just frustrates me, I like the job when i'm busy but that's not very often, and too see how many people come into work and rent stuff and buy stuff is really bad. Well I hope your job becomes alittle better for you. peace out

I am going to be manning the phones alot in the next 2 weeks, but I dont let callers get to me anymore. I make sure they know who's in control of whether their calls makes it thru to who they want or not :devil:

sounds like a fun job, when I answer the phones i'm like a bi$#@, I have to do as they say, same with when they come into the store.

Fortunately phones is not my main task. I am covering for our receptionist who is taking days off in the next 2 weeks. My main job is to work under the managing partner and his assistant. Most misc. filing, and a few other admin type projects going on. Keeps me busy and the bills paid. The work itself is not all that glamourous, howver having 2 bosses that leave you alone to do your own work, trusting you'll get it done >>>>>>>>> big bucks jobs with managment riding your butt the whole day.

That sounds like kind of a good job, better than mine at least!!
I don't know it might be fun to work like that for awhile.

Me? Taking calls, PWing on a few boards, drinking a keg of water (ok a 52 oz sport cup of water hehe) and going thru some old financial records to make sure past client accounts are updated to show zero balance in their trust accounts.

Other than that not much :p

I think half my prob is that the new guys think its SOOOO cool and tough to bag out everything as being gay. The whole Im tough cause Im homophobic attitude they have shits me.

Not boring, but frustrating. Im sick of chasing the newbies to teach them how to do their own jobs. Newbies who are 35 and 36 dont listen to an experienced 23 year old. GRRRR they do now!!!!!!!
