Dale Jr./Boris Said Corvette C5R 2004

Just finished this in time for the NNL East on Saturday. This is Dale Jr./Boris Said's C5R from the 2004 ALMS race at Infineon Raceway. The car was completely destroyed when Jr. backed into the wall and it could fire.

I used the Revell kit, heavily modified the body, and added the SMS PE and carbon fiber sheets. The decals were a combination of the kit and custom made fill in's by Mobay Designs.

The helmet is from one of the driver figures that comes in the newer style NASCAR kits....
