Maximas that Make us look bad.

The Maximas i've seen around my way have looked either decent or just plain stock. I was with my gf the other day @ Rita's water Ice and this so-called maxima drives up next to me. It was a 4th generation maxima with a couple of mods.

1.) He SPRAY PAINTED HIS CAR BLACK. No, it wasn't the Maaco paint job. It was "hardware store and get a bunch of spraypaint" kind of paint. It was disgusting and embarassing. Second, the tip of his exhuast was taped to the top of his bumper...totally visible. As for his tailights, he had circular coverings over them to make them look like the new cougar tailights...but they looked like stencils. He had the chrome hubcaps you can buy at the carwash for 14.99. He had stickers ALL OVER his car (they weren't lined up properly either). His factory system was cracking and he stared me down like he was hardcore. I was DEFINITE that i didnt want to look on the inside.

The worst part was...

he PRYED off his emblems (since you can still see the glue and where it used to be) and replaced it with cut out aluminum. It showed

"Sexima" -(keep in mind the letters were crooked.

As a maximadriver...i was uphauled when i saw this piece of trash. I understand there are those who are on tight budgets, but its another thing to mess up such a beautiful car AND STILL ACT LIKE YOU ARE TOUGH SHIZNIT.

I was so mad about it, i had to let out some steam.

What is the WORST looking Maxima you've seen?

I hardly ever see any hooked up maxes, but when I was out in Hershey I saw one with Altezza's and a big silver weed-leaf sticker on the gas tank door. I don't have a problem with anybody smoking herb, but why would you advertise it on your car? "Hey officer, here's your probable cause! Now search me!"

I think we all need to head up that way... and in the middle of the night (ofcourse dressed in black).... BOMB IT!!!

Pretty damn sad and pathetic, punks like that make us all look bad and the even sadder part is that he thought it looked tight.

I'm glad that the majority and I'm talking over 98% of the Maximas that I see even if they are old or older are very well kept and not riced out and I think ain't nothing on the road that looks as tight as a hooked up 97 or a 99 Max.

When you see "tricked out" Maximas, or any other riced up car, just look over in their direction and give them a hearty laugh. If they wanna race... smoke em.

This is a reason why its a good idea to always carry a digi-cam in you center console. Then you can share the hilarity with visuals.

i wasn't able to show him up, because my car was still damaged from the accident. I just gave him the dirtiest look ever. But he lives around my way...so if i see it, i'll be sure to leave him a good reminder that his Maxima was raped with his ricer imagination. I'll leave a note for you guys.

Dude that is weak... I have NEVER seen a bad maxima... even the other 3rd gens in my town still look nice, they take care of them, Hell I had an old friend of mine drive up with a 2nd Gen, the front bumper was a little loose but that's not TOO bad taking into his budget and the age of the car, he just got it as it was, the engine was still clean (I was amazed). That is just sickening... how could someone do that? That is worse than taking a Daewoo and putting a Max emblem on it or something.... That guy needs to be found, shot and his car respectfully burned and put to rest, the poor thing :(

I've seen a lot of modded maxima's around my area and they all look pretty good. It's a shame that people would mess up a perfectly good car.

Most people that have one usually take real good care of them, you'd have to be a sorry sack of sh*t not to.

i have to agree with that - they tease me at the shop because I have a detailing brush and soft cloth in the glove-box at all times - you know, when i get bored at a red light... >ahem< hehe

I saw a 4th gen maxima that was really horrible and made other Maxima's look bad. This guy had a some cheap ass ricey break lights and the light was pink, had a bloody red exuast tip, and had Infiniti logo instead of the Nissan one but it still said Nissan on the back.
