Okay, I take my car in for a front end alignment yesterday morning. Leave from the shop and all is good so far. I play in a Band so I load up my equipment and get ready to go to my gig.

I hear something like a little clanking noise, I thought it might be stuff in the trunk.

I get in today and the clunking sound is worse... So I empty the car and still get it. I can hear it when I hit little bumps now. So I get home I jack her up and this is what I see! CRAAAPPP!!!

How the hell did that happen?
Can this be welded back on?
Or do I need a whole new part????

I'm know I'm going to have to question the shop about this since I've had the car and didn't have this problem until after they worked on it. I certainly hope this was not intentional.

I have seen more than a couple gm's do that. I had a regal that did it. no idea why but they seem to break right in the middle like that with no warning and just suddenly. The shop would have seen it if it was broken at the moment it was in. Why wouldnt they jump on more work.

Ya I know the venting part, don't worry, those bolts usually come out no problem. A little extra help never hurts.
