Alclad II airbrush issues

Normally I have no issues with Alclad lacquers, but recently the base black seems to be drying on its way through the airbrush.
I am currently using a Mig Productions Airbrush, set at 20-25psi.
Anyone got any ideas on either why this is happening and/or what I can do to fix it. The main lacquers do not seem to have this issues.
I am currently replacing the chrome on the Jaegermeister Porsche wheels, and since they are prominent I want to make sure this does not mess it up.
thanks in advance for any help

Use more thinner and you may lower to 20psi.

Try lower pressure. I usually use about 10-15 psi.

Hi guys,
I have a question. What kind of thinner do you use to thin alclad?

it sounds like the paint is drying before it get to the object - there are several ways to try to fix this - increase the amount of enamel reducer "thinner" add a retarder to the mix - this slows the drying rate of the reducer in the paint - decrease the pressure slightly as mentioned above - I believe that the AlClad black is an enamel paint - I use it too but have never had to reduce it any more than the way it comes and I live in Arizona and paint thru the summers where it gets very hot, but I airbrush indoors with the air-conditioning set around 80 degrees Fairenheight. Also don't have the airbrush to far away from the object you are trying to paint. - Hope this gives you some help and things to try - John
