Passenger side wiper not working

My son has my 2001 Suburban at school. He sent me pics and a video. The passenger wiper arm doesn't move with the drivers side arm. It stays down though it jerks a bit. I'm guessing the bolt that holds the arm to the linkage has come loose. Since I don't have the truck here it's hard for me to diagnose.
Is the arm held on by a bolt? If so, is there a cap over it? If not, how is it held on? Is it possible the linkage is broken?
Any suggestions appreciated.

it might just need new plastic bushings i just went threw this on my truck and went to autozone picked up a pack of diffirent sizes and shapes it a pack i thgink i payed around 6 bucks. if theres a bolt on top that would be easier if not there a little clip on mine to take whole arm off. check the threads when you take it off and see if there warn where the arm hooks to.

The linkage underneath the cowling is connected via ball studs and plastic sockets. I'm guessing one of the sockets cracked and broke and the linkage fell apart for the right side. Can he move the wiper freely by hand? Any scraping noises under the cowling?
New sockets can be bought at any parts store in the HELP! section of odd parts. Add a dab of grease before you snap in the ball stud.
