Removing Glove box

2000 Buick regal Ls. need to remove and replace glove box,since this one is broken. Any tips or shortcuts beforte I start my venture?Never took one out before.Thanks

Just remove the lower kick panel/sound deadener on the passenger side. Then you can access the hex head screws. I recall about 4 need to be removed which are on the hinge for the glovebox. Holding hinge to the dash. Glovebox should come but the retaining lanyard needs to be removed on the right side.
