Wheel bearings part difference

I took my wheel and brakes apart and checked my drivers side bearing last night. The bearing is making noise so I'm assuming that's the problem. When I go to a parts store, the bearing hub assembly they have for my car does not match what's on my vehicle. I've taken a picture of what's on my car and also have a picture attached of what the shops keep showing me. The one the stores have in stock have a gear of some sort on them. I'm assuming it's for ABS, but not sure. My bearing hub doesn't have this gear. Is it ok to put the one with the gear on it or is this really not the right part?

What year and model vehicle do you have? Unless someone swapped hubs on you in the past with the wrong one, I would go with one that's a correct fit. Since the hub on your car is non-abs I'd be sure to replace it with one of the same.

It's a 2003 Mustang, V6 model. I understand that it should be replaced with the same hub, but everyone's showing the hub with the gear as the one designed for my vehicle. So, the question is, how do I determine which hub to put on my vehicle?

Looks like you have a non abs brake system.

Have you seen it in person or just off the picture of the computer? I'm listing two different part numbers for your year, one with ABS and one without ABS. If the parts store only sells the one with ABS, and you visually confirmed this, because computer diagrams may be generic, then you next option would be the dealer.

Though from my searches, non ABS seems to be rare, probably a no option car.

OK, I found what appears to be the correct hub at tascaparts. RockAuto is showing the geared hub when I enter the part number supplied for non-abs vehicles. One diagram on tascaparts is showing an exploded view of the hub and it appears that the abs gear just presses on. Does this mean they're the same hubs? Can I just pop the abs hub on? Can I press the gear off? I can buy this hub much cheaper locally than if I were to buy from any of the online dealers I've found so far.
