Hello, so on my 2002 GTP I just brought it to the dealer for the recall on the valve cover gasket and they noted that the intake gaskets are leaking. I figured this would be the case since there is some oil leakage a little bit and was wondering if anyone could suggest the best gaskets to get and also maybe some directions on how to change them?
I've heard that it's fairly simple to do yourself and really can't afford to bring it into a shop to do. I want to get it taken care of before it becomes a large problem. Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

Send me a pm and I will send you a file. You can use the revised gm lim gaskets or felpro brand. Is it leaking coolant or oil?

I am brand new to this forum so I might be jumping in a little too quick but My GP is non-turbo and a long time ago I had this intake leaking antifreeze which so happened to be finding it's way into my exhaust. This in turn stopped up my Catylatic convertor.
It's been so long that I can't remember the name of the company that sells a permanent fix for the GM problem of leaking manifolds. The fix consists of a complete intake manifold and parts to repair the problem. It was also a reasonably priced part. I'm sure you can find through a search but surely it has been posted on this site before.
Hope this helps.

I just wanted to thank Bob for the email you sent me with the directions on how to change these gaskets. I had the help of a more experienced car guy but your info helped a ton  Thanks again Bob! You're the best.
