2000 Lincoln LS Heater Problem

Get no heat from either the Driver or Passenger side although the A/C seems to work OK. Have bled the air from the cooling system with no effect.

The DATC diagnostic initiation sequences given in my 2000 shop manual differ from those for the 2002 LS given in an earlier thread. Pressing the FLOOR and OFF simultaneously, then the ON, displays the code sequence: 0,25; 1,24; 2,23; ..... 25,0;
88,-188. Pressing PANEL and OFF simultaneously, then the ON, displays just the 88,-188 terminator.

What can I do to obtain meaningful diagnostic codes?

soleniod or sensors in drivers compt. see shrodd's posts. im doing the famous clunk fix now and at solenoid is in the way of the sway bar bolt
