I am unable to remove the LH halfshaft. The manuals say it should slide out after a good pull or snap. I've tried this, perhaps harder than I should have. Is there anything other than the ring on the axle that could be holding it in? Thanks for any help.

no,just the clip with the use of 2 pry bars keeping the pressure equal
on both sides it will pop out.might try rotating axle if it does'nt.
make sure the axle is level(not hanging down)
they can be a bitch sometimes
Good luck

How did you determine that you had a bad axle? What symptoms did your Sienna have?
