2004 Ford Freestar Tire Reset/Tire Pressure light...

We recently purchased a 2004 Ford Freestar. After my husband rotated the tires and adjusted the tire pressure, the tire pressure trouble light came on and the message center is flashing tire reset. How do we reset these trouble messages?

I know in another make/model vehicle we own we have to pump the gas pedal 3 times to reset any trouble codes. I'm not sure if it is the same for this car.

Use your press button keys for your message centerh to have it do an automatic system check. It will check your fluids lights and such. When it checks tires, it will prompt you to hold the reset button to clear the tire pressure light oif o.k.. You have to hold it for about 7- 10 seconds, you will then hear a chyme and the light will go off.
