I have a 1995 5.7 Silverado with a Temperature Sending Unit Wire reading 12.7 volts while disconected from the Sensor. Temperature Sensor OMHs seem with in specs. Once i connect it to the sensor there is no Voltage Reading Avaliable it just reads 0

measure the resistance of the sender to ground ..depending on the temp it should vary ...measure resistance cold engine , then when engine is hot. post back what you got. if it is not changing get new one measure resistance cold/ place in boiling water measure resistance before install .....now you will be sure of what the problem is.
