Hey, who has experience with E85? I'm considering using it a Pontiac RA III with Thermoquad and manual trans. What do I need to know?

Don't do it.
The alcohol may well ruin anything made of rubber in the fuel system, including O-rings, lines and possibly the resin (plastic) float bowl in your Thermoquad.
Also your jetting will be off (too lean for alcohol). You will be down on power with poor running.
you can convert your car to run on E85 or gas with a kit. I have no idea of their effectiveness

I have not had any experience with E85, yet. however i have had experience using E85 is better since it lights off easier in the winter. E85 will also reduce the need to flush the fuel injectors since alcohol is a solvent, as well as a good motor fuel.
