Clapton or Page ? Difficult choice , I'd go with Clapton .

You left out several.

David Gilmore from Pink Floyd would be one of my top choices.
Stevie Ray Vaughan was also really, really good.

I went with Hendrix. Yes it seems everybody picks him but when you're left handed, pick up a right handed guitar, and learn to play it backwards like he did...yeah you're pretty damn good.

That list names some of the best but is missing some of the greats but the very best is Chet Atkins
