My tracker started leaking coolant the other day and overheated.
(1.6l- 16v)
When I got it home and refilled the rad. I noticed I was still gettin heat and couldn't see any leaks anywhere.
I shut the heater off and revved the engine and leaking began.
It seems like it's coming from the top of the back of the head against the firewall somewhere. Dripping down to one of the hoses from the heater core.
Can't see good there because of all the stuff there.
It seems like one of the hoses from the heater core goes up that way.
Does anyone know what is up there and how the hose is connected.?
Appeciate any help.

Had something similar on my 96 and it actually was the heater hoses that had finally cracked under the clamps at the firewall and were squirting onto the back of the engine. It was a pig of a job to replace them too.

Thanks for the info.
I was able to move some other lines out of the way and I did see where that hose led to and where it is leaking, you were right about the hose leaking and it does looks like it is going to be a real bear to get at.
