Why would one tire on my Malibu wear quicker than the rest of the tires?

Suspension problem ( worn bushings, ball joints , etc. ) , bad shock or strut , wheel out of balance , bent wheel , alignment issue , or bad tire are but a few possibilities . Is it a front or rear tire ? What model and year Malibu ? More info ?

It is a 1998 Malibu LS. The front passenger side tire is the one that is worn.

How is it worn, inner tire, outer tire, saw tooth patter? If all suspension/steering components check out then its more then likely an alignment problem. Either camber, toe or rear thrust.

I guess it starts out blue, then goes to white. I've been waiting for green but haven't seen it.
I have seen red on one of my tires under hard sliding, but then it went white again.
It seems that the tires wear fast like in passed GT games......I wish they had fixed that & made it more like real life.
We are talking about an actual car and not some game scenario , right ? Am I missing something ?

The tire is worn on the outside edge.

Thank you so much! Your information was so helpful. I know what the problem is now-I am taking my turns too fast. That is so like me! By the way, are we allowed to copy and print the information in the posts for later reference?
