Hi everyone, I need someone help me confirm the cylinders order in a 1992 Ford Ranger with a 4.0L engine.
According to some information I was given, if you stand in front of the engine, facing the drive belt, the spark plug wires connected to the cylinder head on your left, the one with the oil filler cap, should connect to cylinder numbers 1, 2 and 3, front to back. The spark plug wires on the cylinder head to the right should connect to cylinder numbers 5, 6 and 4, front to back.
Is this order correct: 1, 2, 3 on one side and 5, 6, 4 on the other side?
Thanks a lot for your help.

Great. Thanks a lot Daniel. I'm glad I double-checked. The cylinder order I had initially did not seem quite right.
